Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Ventura Cougars (Ventura, CA) and the visiting La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA), saw Ventura's basketball squad wallop La Serna by a count of 60-16.

With the victory, Ventura upgrades its record to 21-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to San Clemente (San Clemente, CA) to play the Tritons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Tritons come into the challenge with a record of 22-7. San Clemente won 60-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Cerritos (Cerritos, CA)
