The Leigh Longhorns basketball squad (San Jose, CA), was nudged 40-35 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA)

With the victory, Palo Alto advances its record to 22-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to Carlmont (Belmont, CA) to meet the Scots in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. The Scots enter the battle with a record of 16-10. Carlmont won 69-56 in their recent non-league battle against Homestead (Cupertino, CA)
