The McClatchy Lions football team (Sacramento, CA), was ripped 45-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Christian Brothers Falcons (Sacramento, CA)

The Falcons (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Jesuit (Carmichael, CA). The Marauders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Jesuit trounced El Camino (Sacramento, CA), 33-26, in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Capital Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 14. McClatchy will meet a Cougars team coming off a 34-6 non-league win over Lathrop (Lathrop, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-0.
