The McIntosh Chiefs basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Lovejoy Wildcats to 55 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Chiefs now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Zion for a non-league contest on Friday, December 28. McIntosh will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 57-50 non-league win over Clarke Central (Athens, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-7.

The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Clarke Central (Athens, GA). The Gladiators enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Clarke Central was outscored by Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA), 57-50, in a non-league contest.
