Florida High School Basketball - River Ridge holds off Zephyrhills

January 11, 2019: Zephyrhills, FL 33542

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) and the host Zephyrhills Bulldogs (Zephyrhills, FL), saw River Ridge's basketball squad hold off Zephyrhills by a tally of 50-43.

With the victory, River Ridge improves its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Royal Knights travel to Anclote (Holiday, FL) to confront the Sharks in a 6A District 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 15. The Sharks come into the challenge with a record of 1-11.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Hudson Cobras (Hudson, FL) in a 6A District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 15. Zephyrhills will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record.
