The Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) basketball were winner over the visiting Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ), 62-52 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Hawks now possess a 17-9 record. They play next when they travel to Ironwood for a non-league bout on Friday, February 21. Highland will play a Eagles team coming off a 52-49 non-league win over Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 20-6.

With the loss, Cactus Shadows falls to 18-7 on the campaign.
