In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Mountain View Toros basketball team scored a big 77-40 triumph over the Corona del Sol Aztecs.

The Toros (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Coyotes go into the 6A East Valley contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Skyline smashed Kofa (Yuma, AZ), 52-48, in a non-league contest.
