Kentucky High School Basketball - Jackson County thwarts Lee County
January 14, 2025: McKee, KY 40447 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY) and the visiting Lee County Bobcats (Beattyville, KY), observed Jackson County's basketball team knock off Lee County by a score of 66-49.
The Generals (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against North Laurel (London, KY). The Jaguars come into the District 49 challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, North Laurel was knocked off by South Laurel (London, KY), 53-38, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bobcats encounter the Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Lee County will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 63-26 league loss to Somerset (Somerset, KY).
