The West Wilkes Blackhawks football team (Millers Creek, NC), was knocked off 28-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC)

The Maroon Devils (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Mountaineers come into the non-league challenge with a 12-1 record. In their last challenge, Mitchell knocked off Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC), 25-21, in a non-league challenge.
