The Damien Spartans basketball squad (La Verne, CA), was outscored 46-37 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host St. John Bosco Braves (Bellflower, CA)

With the victory, St. John Bosco advances its record to 10-0 on the year. The Braves host Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA) to meet the Lancers in a Trinity battle on Thursday, December 19. The Lancers enter the battle with a record of 6-4. Orange Lutheran won 65-49 in their recent non-league battle against Hesperia (Hesperia, CA)

The Spartans now own a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Gabriel Academy for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 18. Damien will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 62-52 non-league win over Foothill (Santa Ana, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
