Texas High School Basketball - Levelland winner over Panhandle
December 29, 2018: Panhandle, TX 79068 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) basketball squad felled the host Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX), by a margin of 55-47.
The Lobos (20-0) will now prepare for their outing against Lamesa (Lamesa, TX). The Tornadoes go into the 4A Region I District 3 outing with a 10-12 record. In their last outing, Lamesa thwarted Andrews (Andrews, TX), 46-42, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Memphis for a 2A Region I District 2 outing on Friday, January 4. Panhandle will clash with a Cyclones squad coming off a 65-25 non-league loss to Childress (Childress, TX). The Cyclones record now stands at 8-12.
