Texas High School Basketball - Bellaire fells Cypress Lakes
December 29, 2018: Katy, TX 77449 Bellaire Cardinals (Bellaire, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX), 70-60 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bellaire upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Clear Creek (League City, TX) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 29. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Clear Creek won 53-36 in their recent non-league bout against Kinkaid (Houston, TX)
Next up, the Spartans play the Tomball Memorial Wildcats (Tomball, TX) in a 6A Region II District 14 bout, on Wednesday, January 2. Cypress Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 72-54 non-league win over Tomball (Tomball, TX).
