Van Buren Pointers (Van Buren, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Greenwood Bulldogs (Greenwood, AR), 6-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Van Buren upgrades its record to 26-7 on the season. The Pointers travel to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR) to battle the Hurricane in a non-league test on Thursday, May 20. The Hurricane come into the test with a record of 29-4. Jonesboro won 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR)

With the defeat, Greenwood falls to 9-6 on the season.
