The Haverford Fords basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Lower Merion Aces to 22 in the Fords league triumph on Friday.

The Fords now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Friends' Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 26. Haverford will meet a team coming off a 59-19 league win over Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA). The record now stands at 10-7.

The Aces (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Souderton (Souderton, PA). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Souderton was defeated by Central Bucks South (Warrington, PA), 30-28, in a league contest.
