Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Carroll Cougars (Flora, IN) and the host Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN), saw Carroll's basketball squad hold off Fountain Central by a tally of 46-44.

With the victory, Carroll improves its record to 22-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Rossville (Rossville, IN) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 5. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 13-10. Rossville won 50-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN)
