North Carolina High School Basketball - Alexander Central over Patton

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) and the host Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), saw Alexander Central's basketball squad overcome Patton by a tally of 56-42.

With the victory, Alexander Central improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to North Iredell (Olin, NC) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 14. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Panthers confront the West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC) in a Northwestern Foothills 2A challenge, on Friday, December 14. Patton will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 59-25 non-league loss to South Iredell (Statesville, NC).
