Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ), 74-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cactus upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cobras host Eastmark (Mesa, AZ) to play the Firebirds in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Firebirds go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Eastmark won 76-72 in their recent non-league bout against Chandler (Chandler, AZ)

Next up, the Marauders play the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 4. Mingus will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
