In Friday's non-league match, the visiting McAlester Buffaloes basketball team scored a good 56-40 triumph over the Will Rogers College Ropers.

In their next game, the Buffaloes meet the El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 12. McAlester will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 9-1 record after their 59-50 non-league win over Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK).
