Rocori Spartans (Cold Spring, MN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN), 7-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Rocori upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Spartans travel to Brainerd (Brainerd, MN) to battle the Warriors in a Central Lakes test on Tuesday, May 21. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 11-4. Brainerd won 5-2 in their recent league test against Apollo (St. Cloud, MN)

With the defeat, Big Lake falls to 9-8 on the season. The Hornets host Princeton (Princeton, MN) to battle the Tigers in a Mississippi 8 test on Tuesday, May 21. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 6-11.
