December 4, 2021: Kearny, AZ 85137 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Hopi Bruins (Keams Canyon, AZ) basketball squad beat the host Ray Bearcats (Kearny, AZ), by a margin of 73-57.
The Bruins (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against St. Johns (St. Johns, AZ). The Redskins go into the 2A North outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, St. Johns was topped by Show Low (Show Low, AZ), 51-14, in a non-league outing.
The Bearcats now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Superior for a 1A East outing on Tuesday, December 7. Ray will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 73-30 league loss to Hayden (Winkelman, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
