Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Sierra Linda will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Aztecs enter the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Washington (Phoenix, AZ).

The Rattlers now possess a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Mountain for a 5A Metro challenge on Friday, February 2.
