Illinois High School Basketball - Bogan knocked off by Oak Lawn
February 1, 2019: Oak Lawn, IL 60453 The Oak Lawn Spartans basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Bogan Bengals to 49 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Island Eisenhower for a South Suburban - Red contest on Tuesday, February 5. Oak Lawn will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 51-19 league loss to Reavis (Burbank, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-13.
The Bengals (10-15) will now prepare for their contest against Jones (Chicago, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 15-10 record. In their last contest, Jones was defeated by Simeon (Chicago, IL), 84-30, in a non-league contest.
