The Natomas Nighthawks routed the visiting Valley Vikings softball squad by a count of 21-10 in Thursday's league battle.

The Nighthawks (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against San Juan (Citrus Heights, CA). The Spartans go into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record.

The Vikings now sport a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Kennedy for a non-league battle on Monday, April 22.
