The Firebirds (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Desert Sunrise (Maricopa, AZ). The Golden Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Desert Sunrise was ripped by Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ), 62-0, in a league challenge.
The Broncos now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Snowflake for a 4A East Sky challenge on Friday, October 6. Poston Butte will meet a Lobos team coming off a 55-20 non-league win over Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ). The Lobos record now stands at 3-2.
