In Friday's non-league contest, the Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host Monrovia Bulldogs (Monrovia, IN), by a margin of 10-0.

With the triumph, Decatur Central moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Hawks host Franklin Community (Franklin, IN) to play the Grizzly Cubs in a Mid-State contest on Saturday, April 11. The Grizzly Cubs come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Franklin Community lost 14-5 in their recent non-league contest against Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN)
