The Newark Catholic Green Wave (Newark, OH) basketball felled the visiting Utica Redskins (Utica, OH), 48-40 in Friday's league test.

The Green Wave (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Licking Valley (Newark, OH). The Panthers go into the Licking County - Buckeye test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Licking Valley thwarted Danville (Danville, OH), 70-42, in a non-league test.
