West Virginia High School Basketball - Pendleton County over Eastern Mennonite
January 5, 2019: Franklin, WV 26807 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pendleton County Wildcat (Franklin, WV) and the visiting Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA), saw Pendleton County's basketball squad overcome Eastern Mennonite by a tally of 34-26.
With the victory, Pendleton County improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Wildcat travel to Harman (Harman, WV) to confront the Panthers in a Potomac Valley challenge on Wednesday, January 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Harman lost 63-28 in their recent league challenge against Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV)
Next up, the confront the Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) in a LIS challenge, on Thursday, January 10. Eastern Mennonite will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 53-38 league win over New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA).
