Michigan High School Basketball - L'Anse trounces Jeffers
February 21, 2019: L'Anse, MI 49946 The L'Anse Purple Hornets (L'Anse, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Jeffers Jets (Painesdale, MI), 66-40 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Purple Hornets (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Chassell (Chassell, MI). The Panthers go into the Copper Country test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Chassell walloped Houghton (Houghton, MI), 53-41, in a non-league test.
The Jets now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Watersmeet for a Copper Country test on Tuesday, February 26.
