The Northwestern Tigers routed the visiting Westfield Shamrocks basketball team by a final score of 67-40 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, January 8. Northwestern will attempt to move on its 13-0 season record. The Comets enter the game with a 11-4 record after their 48-33 non-league win over Franklin County (Brookville, IN).

With the defeat, Westfield moves to 8-7 on the year. The Shamrocks travel to Columbus North (Columbus, IN) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28.
