The University Prep Jaguars basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Riverside Prep Silver Knights to 30 in the Jaguars league triumph on Friday.
The Jaguars now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Academy for Academic Excellence for a Cross Valley contest on Tuesday, January 14. University Prep will meet a Knights team coming off a 57-36 non-league loss to Joshua Springs (Yucca Valley, CA). The Knights record now stands at 2-5.
The Silver Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Academy of Careers & Exploration (Helendale, CA). The enter the Cross Valley contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Academy of Careers & Exploration triumphed over Apple Valley Christian (Hesperia, CA), 32-15, in a non-league contest.
