In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Poston Butte Broncos (San Tan Valley, AZ) baseball squad the visiting Canyon del Oro Dorados (Tucson, AZ), by a final score of 5-2.

With the win, Poston Butte upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Broncos travel to Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ) to battle the Dons in a 4A Black Canyon challenge on Friday, April 9. The Dons come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Coronado lost 19-5 in their recent league challenge against Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ)

With the defeat, Canyon del Oro falls to 8-1 on the season. The Dorados host Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Badgers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 9. The Badgers come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Tucson High Magnet School won 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ)
