Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT), 81-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fitch upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Falcons travel to Seymour (Seymour, CT) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Thursday, March 7. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 15-7. Seymour won 90-45 in their recent non-league game against South Windsor (South Windsor, CT)

With the defeat, Windham moves to 8-14 on the year.
