In Thursday's non-league match, the host Dobson Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 64-34 triumph over the Copper Canyon Aztecs.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Tucson High Magnet School Badgers (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 5. Dobson will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record.

With the defeat, Copper Canyon moves to 2-2 on the year. The Aztecs travel to Kofa (Yuma, AZ) to meet the Kings in a 5A Central Valley match on Monday, December 4. The Kings enter the match with a record of 2-0. Kofa won 54-40 in their recent league match against Washington (Phoenix, AZ)
