In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Benjamin Russell Wildcats football squad scored a big 55-7 victory over the Chilton County Tigers.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Opelika Bulldogs (Opelika, AL) in a 6A Region 3 match, on Friday, October 4. Benjamin Russell will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 63-28 non-league loss to Central (Phenix City, AL).

The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Bibb County (Centreville, AL). The Choctaws enter the 5A Region 3 match with a 6-0 record.
