North Carolina High School Basketball - Cox Mill knocked off by Providence Day
December 22, 2017: Charlotte, NC 28270 The Providence Day Chargers basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Cox Mill Chargers to 52 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Chargers now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gray Collegiate Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 23. Providence Day will meet a War Eagles team coming off a 63-61 non-league win over Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC). The War Eagles record now stands at 9-1.
The Chargers (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC). The Cyclones enter the non-league contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Porter-Gaud was defeated by Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC), 63-61, in a non-league contest.
