Arizona High School Basketball - Sunnyslope nips Millennium

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Sunnyslope Vikings basketball team scored a close 52-49 triumph over the Millennium Tigers.

The Vikings (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ). The Thunder go into the 6A Central contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Desert Vista nipped Hamilton (Chandler, AZ), 63-62, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Millennium will attempt to better on its 13-6 season record. The Monsoon go into the contest with a 11-6 record after their 74-6 league win over West Point (Avondale, AZ).
