New York High School Lacrosse - Carthage held off by Watertown
May 7, 2018: Carthage, NY 13619 Watertown Cyclones (Watertown, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Carthage Comets (Carthage, NY), 9-8 in a non-league battle.
The Cyclones now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Jefferson for a Section 3 Frontier - A battle on Tuesday, May 8. Watertown will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 9-6 league loss to General Brown (Dexter, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 2-9.
In their next game, the Comets clash with the Lowville Red Raiders (Lowville, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier - A battle, on Tuesday, May 8. Carthage will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Red Raiders come into the battle with a 4-4 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Proctor (Utica, NY).
