Texas High School Soccer - Texas knocks off Waskom
February 8, 2019: Texarkana, TX 75503 Texas Tigers (Texarkana, TX) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Waskom Wildcats (Waskom, TX), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 15 challenge, on Tuesday, February 12. Texas will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Palestine (Palestine, TX).
The Wildcats now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Spring Hill for a 4A Region 2 District 16 challenge on Tuesday, February 12. Waskom will confront a Panthers team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Carlisle (Price, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 4-7.
