Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hiland Hawks (Berlin, OH), 53-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Waterford upgrades its record to 23-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Loudonville (Loudonville, OH) to clash with the Redbirds in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 14. The Redbirds go into the bout with a record of 26-2. Loudonville won 40-14 in their recent non-league bout against Springfield (New Middletown, OH)
