In Friday's non-league battle, the host Murphy Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hiwassee Dam Eagles.

The Bulldogs (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Tigers come into the Big Smoky Mountain battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Rosman achieved victory over Hayesville (Hayesville, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) in a Little Smoky Mountain battle, on Tuesday, December 29. Hiwassee Dam will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record.
