In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Desert Hills Thunder basketball team scored a tight 58-54 triumph over the Cedar Reds.

In their next game, the Thunder meet the Dixie Flyers (St. George, UT) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 23. Desert Hills will attempt to better on its 14-9 season record. The Flyers enter the match with a 20-4 record after their 68-53 league loss to Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT).

With the defeat, Cedar moves to 8-14 on the year.
