Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Glenn Bobcats (Kernersville, NC), 7-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Weddington upgrades its record to 15-12 on the season. The Warriors travel to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Friday, May 10. The Rams come into the test with a record of 21-4. T.C. Roberson won 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

With the defeat, Glenn falls to 17-10 on the season.
