New Mexico High School Basketball - Del Norte nudges Albuquerque
January 13, 2018: Albuquerque, NM 87102 Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM), 35-32 in a non-league game.
In their next game, the Knights face the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a 5A District 2 game, on Tuesday, January 16. Del Norte will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the game with a 5-13 record after their 61-16 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).
With the defeat, Albuquerque moves to 3-10 on the year. The Bulldogs host Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Ravens in a 6A District 4 game on Tuesday, January 16. The Ravens enter the game with a record of 0-14. Rio Grande lost 61-13 in their recent non-league game against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM)
