California High School Basketball - Mills prevails Capuchino
January 7, 2011: Millbrae, CA 94030 Mills Vikings (Millbrae, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA), 46-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mills upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Vikings host Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA) to play the Bears in a Peninsula - Bay bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Menlo-Atherton won 56-50 in their recent non-league bout against Carlmont (Belmont, CA)
Next up, the Mustangs play the South San Francisco Warriors (South San Francisco, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 8. Capuchino will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 51-36 non-league loss to Skyline (Oakland, CA).
