In Friday's league game, the Oakdale Mustangs (Oakdale, CA) football team smashed the host Sierra Timberwolves (Manteca, CA), by a score of 56-24.

The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Kimball (Tracy, CA). The Jaguars come into the Valley Oak League game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Kimball was ripped by Manteca (Manteca, CA), 41-13, in a league game.

The Timberwolves now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host East Union for a Valley Oak League game on Friday, October 12. Sierra will meet a Lancers team coming off a 48-7 league loss to Central Catholic (Modesto, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 2-5.
