Sunnyslope Vikings (Phoenix, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ), 13-12 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sunnyslope upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Vikings host Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Dorados in a non-league test on Saturday, February 24. The Dorados come into the test with a record of 2-1. Canyon del Oro won 14-6 in their recent non-league test against Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ)

With the defeat, Gilbert falls to 1-2 on the year. The Tigers host Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ) to clash with the Padres in a non-league game on Saturday, February 24.
