The Saguaro Sabercats the host Chaparral Firebirds baseball team by a count of 8-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Sabercats now possess a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Coronado for a II Section 4 bout on Thursday, March 5. Saguaro will face a Dons team coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ). The Dons record now stands at 1-2.

Next, the Firebirds face the North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 5. Chaparral will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Rattlers enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Browne (Phoenix, AZ).
