Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks (Yuma, AZ) and the visiting Central Spartans (El Centro, CA), saw Yuma Catholic's basketball squad wallop Central by a count of 45-17.

With the victory, Yuma Catholic upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Shamrocks host Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ) to play the Phoenix in a 3A West challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Tonopah Valley lost 40-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Salome (Salome, AZ)

Next up, the Spartans play the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
