In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) baseball squad edged the host Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA), by a final score of 6-5.

With the win, Hillgrove upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Hawks host Woodstock (Woodstock, GA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 11. The Wolverines enter the battle with a record of 7-3. Woodstock lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Marietta (Marietta, GA)

The Lions now possess a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Gwinnett for a AAAAAAA Region 8 battle on Monday, March 15. Peachtree Ridge will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to Parkview (Lilburn, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-10.
