Texas High School Basketball - Fruitvale ripped by Jefferson
December 27, 2017: Fruitvale, TX 75127 The Jefferson Bulldogs basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Fruitvale Bobcats to 45 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hawkins for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Jefferson will battle a Hawks team coming off a 58-43 non-league loss to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 5-5.
The Bobcats (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Avinger (Avinger, TX). The Indians enter the 1A Region III District 24 contest with a 2-18 record. In their last contest, Avinger was routed by Queen City (Queen City, TX), 49-16, in a non-league contest.
